I am putting this in my BLOG because I want the world to know what my goal is for 2008.I am going to imdbpro.com the 13,400 names in DGA(Directory Guild of America)book.
I am going to do this to prove to the people that talked BAD about me. I have been told I try too hard on stage. I have been told I am too old(All Developement). Last I have been told my acting can be better. 2500 REELS & 2500 HEADSHOTS will be mailed out in 2008. If Hollywood does not know who I am I have not done my JOB! Winners Are Quitters & Quitters Are Not Winners

I booked Horror 88 because I was persistent. I just wanted to scream out that I had my first table read for Horror 88 last week. I did a REAL table read with REAL actors and REAL food & REAL bottled water. What makes me feel great is that I am getting paid on this GIG. What shocks me so much is how professional everybody was on set. My hat goes off to the director Joaquin. But the really nice thing is that a main star is attached to the project which makes me feel like a profesional actor. We start filming in Febuary 2008 and I
can't wait to show up on set prepared. By the way, I am prepared to mail out 2500 REELS with 2500 8x10 headshots for 2008. If Hollywood does not know who I am, I have not done my JOB! Take control of your own career guys! Sajen Corona xo

2 Auditions in One Day

I work in Calabasas, so hear me out. I had 2 auditions today. First, at 12 noon, and the second at 2:00pm. I got to work at 9:00am, and hit the phone cold calling. I knew I had to leave my work at 11:30am to get to Hollywood & Sherman Oaks. Why an hour & a half early?

TRAFFIC - TRAFFIC - TRAFFIC

My 1st audition
A "Pizza Guy" throwing pizza dough up in the air tossing it up & down. By the way, I never told my agent I can make pizza dough. If there's anything I can do good, it's toss salad (if you know what mean.) Anyway, I still pitched the casting director my 4x6 card Gettin' It.

My 2nd audition
Back over the hill into the valley is "Family Guy" for the Colorado Lottery. No lines they were just looking for a look.

While driving back to Calabasas, to my office, I just smiled hard on the 101 WEST. I am Chasing MY Dream, balls to the walls. When I got back, I told a girl at my office I drove 50 miles round trip doing auditions. Sheann, her name, looked shocked. I said, "How bad do you think I want to make it...?"

549 REELS Mailed Out OCT & NOV 2007

I just want to get to the point. After mailing out 549 REELS in two months I booked
a feature film HORROR 88.I met the Director at AFM in Santa Monica Lowe's Hotel.I was the only actor pitching my 4x6 and 3 minute REEL. It a small role and there is pay.
If Hollywood does not know who I am I have not done my job. I am prepared to mail out in 2008 2500 pictures & 2500 REELS. How bad do you want the dream.

This is not a RACE This is a MARATHON !

I went to the Latino Film Fest at the ARC LITE in Hollywood one week ago. I need to share this story with you.It was Saturday around 4pm at the Arc Lite, I walk up to one of the volunteers at the film FEST who knows me for the last 5 years from pitching. I will not use names just a Latino actor. I'm sharing him the movie I did 3 years ago that finally got distribution across the country. I gave him my 4x5 pitch card with
"Gettin'It" on one side and my face on the other, the next thing that came out of his mouth was the hater. "You've aged Sajen!" Wow, I really can not understand how much jealousy is in this business. Here someone with no REEL, no website, no feature film & Zero imdb.com credits.
How the heck can CASTING/DIRECTORS/PRODUCERS think actor is for REAL in this business?
I just say to myself water off a duck's back. This hater is not in the race OR the marathon. If I can
teach the world to be better place. Always do the right thing from the heart and never lie. By the way, I was the only actor pitching with 4x5 & REELS to give film makers.

REPEAT IN ONE WEEK

Sunday morning I wake to go running at my gym. My car battery dies again! Fuck, AAA auto tow I only get 4 calls a year so I asked my neighbor George for a jump start. Thank God he was looking in our dumpster to get bottles recycled. He gave me a jump start. I drove to Goodyear to put a new battery in my 1986 Nissan 300ZX with 290,000 miles
That was a $107.98 hit on my credit card that I did not expect. It came out of nowhere! It was about an hour wait
so I headed to the Fox Hills Mall to kill time. I ate at the Mongolian barbecue restaurant where all the food is cooked by Mexicans. I pitched about 20 people in the mall about my movie "Gettin' It" with my 4x5 card. I then returned to my
car and drove to the gym to finish my workout. Why did I BLOG this?...In life you will have 100's if not 1000's of bumps that will come into your life. You have to deal with them head on.....Balls to the the wall!

PS I forgot to tell you I mailed 60 REELS last week to CASTING/DIRECTORS/PRODUCERS...

Battery Dead & Transmission Went

Wow, what can a day in Los Angeles be when you're on the bottom. I got into my car at 9am to find out that my battery was dead. That's not so bad, called AAA tow get the jump start on my day.
I'm off and away driving to work so I can keep mailing REELS out for my career. So I hear this noise in my
transmission like some poured lamb curry into the tranny. I drive to the only person I trust with my car, Chalard's Auto in Burbank. I drop my car off & take my bike on the MTA to Calabasas.
3 hours it took to get there... 3 hours to get home... Just to find out that the car transmission bill was $500 for the day.

PS Today is the 1st. Fuck, RENT.

How bad do I want to walk the RED
carpet? Well, let just say I WILL mail out 2,000 REELS in the next 12 months.

New Interactive Flash Website

I met this guy Trevor a week ago at the Venice Beach Staples on Lincoln while I was in the parking lot. This turned out to be a really good contact for both of us. I needed to upgrade my website and he needed contacts in LA.

We have been working on this for a week, and as you can see, we're doing amazing things with my site. Were just getting started baby! Wait till you see what's coming next... Stay tuned!!!
