I have completed The Hollywood Creative Directory 64th fall 2008 edition by mailing out 1,786 DVD reels to production companies & producers. Great Fame Will Come With A lot of Rejection and Pain

1330 REELS & 1660 E-MAILS REQUESTED BY 1ST AND 2ND AD'S FROM THE DGA DIRECTORY
As I stated back on May 1st. I will blog you in a month with results from pitching the DGA Directory. It took me four months to pitch from the A section(pg. 52) all the way through the Z section(pg. 577).
Believe it or not, I only ran into 14 haters through the 2000 people I pitched, which only made me stronger. I am going to start pitching OCT 2008, the The Hollywood Creative Directory , starting on page 33 of the A section, going all the way through to pg.362 of the Z section. What I learned the first time around, the only people that can help you in this town is a director or producer. The most important thing I learned was having a reel of your work is the most important because one director told me, "if I can't see your work in front of a camera, how can I bring you to my project?" He told me that he loved what I was doing as an actor by putting myself out there so people can see my work. I always say if you want to see what I am doing, just GOOGLE me.
A lot of people tell me, "Good Luck." I say there is no such thing as luck. It is perseverance. How many times do you think people bought a lottery ticket until they actually won or a quarter in a slot machine?

1060 REELS & 960 e-mails your link requested from DGA directory
It has been three months of pitching the DGA directory.For FEB-MAR-APR I have mailed out a total of 1060 REELS requested to Directors 1st & 2nd AD's along with 960 e-mails please send me a link to your website.I just completed the O section last night and now
starting with P section today.98% of the feed back is really great and I have only run into 10 haters. I forgot to tell you that I have a haters list on the very back page.
Last, my Actor friend Oliver said I was wasting my time by burning contacts by calling up people wasting their time.I ran his quote by a major TV Director he said your doing the right thing by putting yourself out there. "Keep going Sajen don't listen anyone!"

738 REELS requested by Directors 1st & 2nd AD from DGA book
I started pitching the DGA book on February 3rd 2008 Super Bowl Sunday. I have gotten mostly a good reaction and positive vibe from the Directors along with 1st & 2nd AD. I have mailed out 738 reels for the month of FEB & MAR 2008. Starting with A's I just completed the G section last night. Everyone asks me, what the response has been like, I just reply,
"I will let you know in 9 months". It take that long to close the deal and that is just the way it is in Hollywood. Last, I want to leave you with a great QUOTE a Director told me on Super Bowl Sunday. " Sajen nothing ventured nothing gained! Promise me you are going to complete the DGA book?" I gave him my word. Filmed Without Borders in Tecate Mexico on FEB 9th
What a weekend can be outside the US in Mexico. I get a TEXT on my cell phone Friday night at 5:57pm while driving home threw Topanga Canyon. The Director asked me if I can drive to the border stay motel and call time would be 7am in a heart beat I TEXT back YES. I knew I was only a day player in his film, but I realized how hard it is to be in any REAL Hollywood film is almost impossible in this town. I had to get home ASAP so I can mail out the 20 REELS & 8x10 to Directors in the DGA book. By 8:45pm I was on my way to San Diego, California to be in my next film in Mexico called Without Borders. What scared me the most was I was afraid my 1986 3000zx with 296,6933 miles breaking down while driving their but GOD was on my side. I got there at 10:47 pm San Ysidero 3 miles from the border. The motel I stayed in was like a crack house in Hollywood. All night I can hear the semi-truck driving by on the interstate 5 south to the border and I can hear the people next to my room playing the TV all night.I get a call at 6:15am Saturday drive over the border to Tijuana Mexico. I get to the hotel where I meet & greet the cast and crew. I left my car at the hotel took us hour & half to get the location Tecate Mexico. After a 12 hour shoot day I get back headed to back to US. It took 2 hour to get over the border from Mexico and got home Saturday 11:40pm just in time to watch my favorite show SNL (Saturday Night Live). One of my dreams is to be on SNL and say... " Live From New York it Saturday Night Live!" I forgot to tell you I mailed out this week alone 48 REELS along with 8x10 Pictures and my 4x6 pitch card to Directors in the DGA book & 10 personal e-mails. Do the homework come prepared just keep doing it no matter what anyone says. JUST KEEP DOING IT ! PERSEVERANCE no luck in Hollywood that a word someone made up stroke people to make someone feel good. That would be the person who said it... " Good Luck!" Would you take a third party check out of state. That is just what I was thinking the same thing. GOOD PERSEVERANCE! NOT GOOD LUCK!

195 REELS & 8x10 PICTURES mailed out JAN 2008
Today is the day I start to imdbpro.com the 13,400 names in the DGA(Directors Guide of America)book. This LOSER in Hollywood (AJ) said that I am running out of time to make it in this business.This LOSER has zero imdb.com credits does not have a car and works at a catering company serving food. By the way, he call himself a Producer /Director & he the gate keeper to an actors career.Do I smell the JEALOUS hate that I am growing as actor.The second LOSER (Chaunda) who is 100K in credit card debt said I am too much over the top and to intense.She also stated I scare people away & butt of joke. The LOSER calls herself an ACTOR.This LOSER has zero imdb.com credits no headshots no REELS

The real nice thing about this project is that it's SAG and shooting on 35mm film. Remember, 2500 REELS & 2500 8x10 PICTURES mailed out to directors in 2008 don't HATE AJ & Chaunda when I get to my goal. Check out that book "The Actor's Survival Guide By Jon S.Robbins" I am featured in 10 out of the 12 chapters. You can pick it up at Barnes & Noble or BORDERS book store.
