I started pitching the DGA book on February 3rd 2008 Super Bowl Sunday. I have gotten mostly a good reaction and positive vibe from the Directors along with 1st & 2nd AD. I have mailed out 738 reels for the month of FEB & MAR 2008. Starting with A's I just completed the G section last night. Everyone asks me, what the response has been like, I just reply,
"I will let you know in 9 months". It take that long to close the deal and that is just the way it is in Hollywood. Last, I want to leave you with a great QUOTE a Director told me on Super Bowl Sunday. " Sajen nothing ventured nothing gained! Promise me you are going to complete the DGA book?" I gave him my word.
